Beyond Equity

Beyond Equity is a community-wide plan developed by the Domestic Violence Prevention Network (DVPN) in Indianapolis, launched in early 2024. This four-year initiative is specifically designed to address the unique needs and experiences of Black and African American women, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals, who have historically been marginalized or underserved by traditional domestic violence prevention and intervention efforts.

As a consultant, I assisted staff to identify objectives, goals, and partners for Beyond Equity. As part of this work I facilitated conversations between services providers, community members, and partner organizations. Finally, I developed, wrote, and designed the final document based on the direction of DVPN’s staff.
